We're always inspired by stories of how a helping hand — or a little nudge — can make a huge difference in someone's business. Take this month's featured member, Edwin Fong. He turned his punny doodles into funny greeting cards thanks to encouragement from a friend — who also helped him make his first sale. See his story below.

Collaboration can have such a huge impact, whether it's a quick share or a big team project. We always encourage entrepreneurs to think: how can I help someone else today? And who can I ask to support me in my work?

On that note, Workshop member and fellow publisher Janine Vangool at Uppercase (who has definitely offered us support!) has a webinar today (Friday, February 24, at 11 am Mountain time) that we thought you might be interested in. It's a chat on surface pattern design with contributor Bonnie Christine, who also has a course on the topic coming up soon. Find out more on the Uppercase website. And, of course, don't forget about our session on copyright, trademarks and patents on Saturday — there are still a few spots left!

Yours in making,

Co-founders Corinna vanGerwen and Kat Tancock

P.S. Our next Show & Tell is on Monday, March 6 at 9 am Pacific/12 pm Eastern — hope to see you there!
