A recap of our tax event, a fun new kit series by Diana Watters and a preview of an upcoming Workshop member perk.
We're not the only ones with more ideas than hours in the day, right? There's so much we've wanted to include as we develop Workshop, but we've had to delay some things because it turns out it's actually impossible to get it all done. All at once, anyway.
Well, we're excited to give you a sneak peek into our next offering: mentorships. Paid Workshop members will soon have access to our pilot program. The intention is to connect our members with smart, successful entrepreneurs in the maker space who can help them refine their offerings and achieve their goals. Watch your inbox for details, and let us know if you have any thoughts on how this program might help you best.
Speaking of goals, have you gotten organized to file your taxes yet? We ran an event on March 10 with bookkeeper Jayne Dykstra to share bookkeeping, accounting and admin tips that will keep you paying your taxes on time — and owing as little as possible. See below for an event recap, and we hope to see you at our next event on April 28 (see details below).
Yours in making,
Save the date! On April 28 at noon Toronto time, we'll be hosting ecommerce expert Arianne Foulks of Aeolidia to chat about smart techniques to improve your website. Even better, Arianne has volunteered to do a live review of some participants' websites. Submit your site now if you'd like to be included!
